VOCAL-NY Gala for
Healthy & Just Communities

Thursday, September 19, 6:30-10:30 PM

Roulette Intermedium, Downtown Brooklyn

VOCAL-NY’s Gala for Healthy & Just Communities honors communities, partners, allies, and leaders – including the recipients of our Justice, Compassion & Love Awards – who fight to save and improve the lives of low-income New Yorkers impacted by HIV/AIDS, the drug war, mass incarceration, and homelessness.

Join us for a fun and inspiring evening with friends and families as we celebrate the resilience and power of our movement and communities, along with VOCAL-NY’s 25th anniversary!

This year, our gala will return to Roulette Intermedium, at 509 Atlantic Avenue, in Downtown Brooklyn. Hors d’oeuvres and drinks will be served from 6:30 to 8 PM, followed by the presentation of awards and brief remarks at 8 PM, with dancing, dessert, and drinks from 8:30 to 10 PM.

Can’t attend? Want to volunteer? Read about other ways you can support our work through the gala!

Under his leadership, he made sure our communities were never cut out, Black and Latiné communities and people who were harmed by marijuana requests. We’re honored to recognize him for his years of commitment to to drug policy and criminal justice reform.
